Synopsis
Unjustly denounced as a criminal by a false friend, Ben-Hur is sent as a slave to the galleys and his mother and sister are thrown into prison, where they are infected with leprosy. Ben-Hur saves the life of a noble Roman and becomes his adopted son and heir. Learning that his mother and sister have been healed by a Nazarene, Ben-Hur seeks Him out to learn at the foot of the Cross of another Kingdom.
