Synopsis
A scorching day, a city street, and a lemonade stand—a Norman Rockwell vignette—with the story of a disheartened woman's desperate bid for salvation by selling lemonade emerging. Her customer is a well-intentioned man who is looking for an investment—a house that is being foreclosed the next day. In the negotiations that follow over the price of the woman's last glass of lemonade, the play builds to a provocative examination of the complex problems associated with those who have and those who have not.
