Tanya Palmer is a playwright and a dramaturg. Her plays include My Family is a Foreign Country, Nauvoo, Alone and Fatherland. Alone was workshopped at Here Theatre in NYC and the Wilton Project in L.A., and was later produced at the Montreal Fringe Festival. Fatherland was produced at The Hanger Theatre as part of the Drama League's New Directors project. A 10-minute play, Body Talk, was produced at ATL and later published in American Voice. A dual citizen of Canada and the United States, Palmer received an M.F.A. in playwriting from York University in Toronto and was recently appointed Literary Manager at Actors Theatre of Louisville.
