Nancy Hanna was a 2000 finalist for the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center's National Playwrights Conference. Her play, Away the Bear, won the 1998 Regent University playwriting competition and has been produced in Virginia and Vancouver. The Psalm of Edie Catz has received readings at the Deep Ellum Center for the Arts in Dallas, Texas, and at Circle Theatre in Chicago. It was workshopped at the Lambs Player's Theatre in San Diego, Calif. Her work appears in Scenes and Monologues for Young Actors published by Dramatic Publishing. She lives in Chicago with her husband and three children.
