Kevin Theis has been a writer, actor and director in Chicago for more than 30 years. He has authored adaptations of The Fair Maid of the West, The Three Musketeers and a Sherlock Holmes mystery titled The Sign of the Four, along with the books Confessions of a Transylvanian and Invading Nirvana. He has appeared on the stages of the Goodman Theatre, the Oak Park Festival Theatre and the Irish Theatre of Chicago, among many others and has received three Joseph Jefferson nominations for his directing work. Theis has also appeared on the television shows Chicago Fire, Empire and Chicago P.D. He is married to actress Sara Nichols and has two children, Milo and Sam.
