Cynthia J. McGean is a published writer, director, actress and child advocate with numerous years experience in children's education. She was instrumental in coordinating a domestic violence prevention program for children in Portland, Ore. Henry and Ramona, her adaptation of Beverly Cleary's stories, has been produced at theaters throughout the United States. McGean is a magna cum laude graduate of Amherst College.
