Craig Alpaugh holds a BSE in Theatre Arts from Emporia State University and an MA in playwriting from the University of Arizona. He is the author of seven published plays and was a winner of a national playwriting contest; a former playwright-in-residence at the Cricket Theatre in Minneapolis; and a recipient of the Miller Fellowship in playwriting. Alpaugh's play The Only Thing, was a Valley Theatre League nominee for best original drama. Some of his other works include: Bad for Business; Filthy Habit; Bless Me, Father; Snatch a Falling Star; Rough Night at the North Pole; The Neighborhood Crime Watch; and Rocky the Renegade Reindeer. Alpaugh is also an award-winning director and actor, and a long-time member of the Group Repertory Theatre.
