Bo List is a proud M.F.A. directing graduate of the University of Memphis department of theatre and dance as well as a bachelor's graduate of the University of Kentucky department of theatre. As a playwright, his work includes Frankenstein, Dracula … A Variation (premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe), Canary Yellow (winner of the Father Hamblin Award for Outstanding Playwriting with the Abingdon Theatre Company), Clink (premiered by Buffalo United Artists), Mary Todd Lincoln: A House Divided (commissioned by the Kentucky Humanities Council) and an adaptation of Karel Capek's R.U.R. As a director, his work has been seen in New York, California, Memphis, Chicago and throughout Kentucky. As an educator, he serves as director of theatre at Sayre School in Lexington, Ky., and as theatre director/instructor with the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts and the performing arts camp Stagedoor Manor. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
