Bathsheba Doran

Bathsheba Doran began her career as a writer and performer at Cambridge University, where she studied English Literature. Her plays include, among others, Fifteen Minutes, Odes and Gameshows, The ParentsÕ Evening, The War Play and Feminine Wash. She has been produced at the Edinburgh Festival, The Atlantic Theatre in New York City and The Old Vic Theate and the Drury Lane in London. In 2002, her adaptation of Henrik IbsenÕs Peer Gynt was directed by Andrei Serban at the Theatre of the Riverside Church in New York City. Her newest work, Living Room in Africa, was workshopped in 2004 at the OÕNeill Playwrights Conference. She is the recipient of a Liberace Playwriting Fellowship, a Howard Stein Scholarship and the Lecomte de Nouy playwriting award.
