In addition to her three published stage adaptations of Jane Austen's books with Dramatic Publishing, Ashley Barnard is also the author of seven novels. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with her husband, James, and daughter, Alexandria, and for 10 seasons she and James ran their own Shakespearean theatre company, Actors' Renaissance Theatre. She had the honor of directing the premier production of her adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, which appeared at the Tempe Performing Arts Center in 2002. Her debut novel, Shadow Fox, and its sequels, Fox Rising and Night of the Fox, are published by Champagne Books.
